Musician, producer, and motion designer Aaron Hogg presents Decoherence, his debut recording under the moniker Throng.

Created in his studio in Otautahi, Christchurch, NZ, this project was conceived in 2022 / 2023 a period in which Aaron was beginning his journey into the vast & sometimes daunting world of hardware synthesis. Throng is an outlet for tying together the outcomes of that exploration & his motion graphics expertise into combined aural & visual experiences. Decoherence explores themes of dark, near-future dystopia, speculative sci-fi technology, quantum physics & existential dread.

Produced using a variety of tools including Novation Peak, Moog Subharmonicon, Korg MS20, Make Noise 0-Coast & various soft-synths, pedals & field recordings.
